We are fortunate to have worked very closely with Teresa Woodruff, PhD, Director, Women’s Health Research Institute in the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University, Associate Provost for Graduate Education, Dean of The Graduate School and Vice Chair for Research, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Credited with coining the term "Oncofertility" to describe the intersection of the two medical fields: Oncology and Fertility, Dr. Woodruff is considered by many as a “rock star” in the world of women’s health. As she prepared to launch both her Women's Health Research Institute and an ambitious Oncofertility Consortium, Dr. Woodruff turned to Richard and sparc for their expertise.
The team was charged with establishing a compelling visual platform that would enable Dr. Woodruff to share and amplify her vision for collaboration and innovation. Visiting with her in her lab at the outset of our engagement on the project, we were thrilled to see her in action and set a goal for ourselves as a team, to match her boundless enthusiasm and passion for this important and painstaking work.
The brand voice, visual identity and range of collateral developed by sparc helped to successfully launch and firmly establish both the Institute and Consortium. These tools have served to set the doctor’s many breakthrough ideas and collaborative partnerships in motion and have empowered her many ongoing efforts to build partnerships between researchers, patients and national and global (care) organizations.
